The Dark Knight
It was fantastic. Ledger was brilliant as the Joker, and not only did Eckhart do an amazing job as Dent, but they set the character up incredibly well. Obviously I loved it.

Re: The Dark Knight
Allyson does yoga twice a week at a studio in the same plaza as an Alamo theater, and when she went on Friday, she couldn't find parking because EVERYONE had filled up the big plaza lot to see The Dark Knight. We'll be seeing it tomorrow, but hot damn! This thing's gonna shatter the box office records, isn't it?

*Spoiler Alert*
I was kinda bummed they didn't kill off joker at the end like they did in Burton's. Now there's the chance for someone else to come in and do an inferior performance. The switch from Katie Holmes to Gyllenhal was an improvement though. Too bad we won't be seeing any more of her.

Re: The Dark Knight
I loved it. To be honest though, I thought Katie Holmes was better as Rachel Dawes. Gyllenhaal's head was bouncing all over the place. She pissed me off through the whole movie, and (I hate to say it) ... but I was actually pleased when she

Re: The Dark Knight
The thing about that is that Heath already *created* this character, this new version of the Joker. Whoever plays The Joker next will just have to imitate Heath.Kill Me Sarah wrote:*Spoiler Alert*

Re: The Dark Knight
Batman Begins was so much better.
...but the character of Rachel (Rachael?) Dawes is one of the worst additions to the Batman universe ever...no matter who played her.
I do feel a little bad for cheering when she died though.

Just saw it tonight on DVD with my Family that came for Thanksgiving. I loved it! How did I see it on DVD already you ask? My nephew the actor ( no big roles yet) gets early copies of movies for feedback pre screening.

I haven't seen this movie, but Maggie Gyllenhaal is definitely one of the sexiest women alive. Anyone here seen 'Secretary'?

For more naked Maggie goodness, you should check out Strip Search. The subject's kinda heavy, but the nudity's outstanding.

Yes it is. And, while watching her get spanked is something to behold, it's nothing compared to the frantic-masturbation-in-the-bathroom-stall scene.Billy's Little Trip wrote:Is that the one where she likes to get spanked?Märk wrote:I haven't seen this movie, but Maggie Gyllenhaal is definitely one of the sexiest women alive. Re: The Dark Knight
I fell alsleep during this movie.
Ledger as the Joker was so unspecial, the dude was just playing a Jack Nicholson impression, and doing it badly. Jack Nicholson did it much better in the first of the batman filums.
I understand the hype, I mean yeh the guy died, but bloody hell, so what a guy died. Probly amongst the worst movies Ive seen in a long time. But then I dont watch many anymore, most of them are shite, or piss poor remakes. Damn Hollywood.
